The Hols // italics visable to Luna, Herm, Harry and Weasleys
This year's Holiday was probably one of my favourites. Though I reckon that's because everyone acted so normal and cheery, instead of the everyday seriousness. Seriousness is all well and good throughout the rest of the year, but not during the Hols.
Home was as it always is. Loud. Fred and George were home once again and it was absolutely crazy about The Burrow. Managed to trick me, those two did. I'll get back at them, just you see. I'm not a fellow Weasley for nothing.
It was great to have a break from all the Prefecting and parchment work. Though I was given loads of it to do over Holiday, I've successfully managed to avoid it. Don't tell Mum, she'll drive me batty.
It was nice having Harry and Hermione here for Christmas and New Years as well. Reckon it's better than spending them at Hogwarts.
Mum and Dad got me a new pair of trainers that look quite spiffy. They're black with red and gold stripes on them. Gryffindor trainers!! I jumped up right quick and hugged Mum real tight. Reckon she was a bit surprised at it, really. No matter. They'll be great for Quidditch practices and training sessions! Reckon I could run all the way around Hogwarts in them and my feet won't hurt a bit! Much nicer than my old trainers, they are.
Oy, speaking of Quidditch.
Has anyone noticed something rather off about Krum's journal postings? His last ones were odd and I haven't seen him in quite some time. Herm wasn't he supposed to come to Britain? I thought I remembered someone mentioning something about him playing for Britain, but I haven't seen anything of it in the Prophet or anything. I'm rather confused. And a tad worried. Oh my.
edit: Oh shite. Just received the Daily Prophet.He was going to play for the CANNONS??
What in the name of Merlin is going on here???

I miss Percy. I wish I could have seen him a bit more throughout the holidays. He's... family... still... I mean, I know he's an awful git to Mum and Dad and whatnot but, well, he's still Percy.
