Oh Merlin. Prefect rounds were rather upsetting this evening.

Colin and I were doing our rounds as usual when we heard a bit of a noise coming from the direction of the library. We investigated, of course, and there was poor Dennis Creevey! It was horrid. Someone had given the poor dear a black eye and loads of bruises.

I very nearly felt sympathy towards Colin. Nearly. I did feel sympathy towards Dennis, though.

What a horror!

We took him to see Madam Pomfrey right quick, though, so everything was healed up quite nicely.

I've not got proof as to who would do such a thing to an innocent fourth year. But I most definitely have my suspicions.

Malfoy. Or one of his lackeys.

I'll be speaking with Professor McGonagall tomorrow about this. I'm positive that Madam Pomfrey will alert her of what happened, but I'd like to speak to her personally.


On a more positive note, Hogsmeade is swiftly approaching, and I for one cannot wait!

I danced around my room for ten minutes afterwards! TEN MINUTES OF GLORIOUS WEIRD SISTERS DANCING!

I'm off to get some cocoa from the kitchens and check on Dennis again. He just seemed so terribly frightened. I'm right worried about him.
